My husband and I really liked this place! The inside is super cozy and the staff was so friendly. My husband got biscuits and gravy and I got the Californian Benedict and it was amazing. Coffee was really good and the portion sizes were perfect. Would definitely go back!
Food and service were great! A great place for family breakfast near Topsail. If the kids still need sugar, there's a candy shop too!
We really like this place. I read the reviews and there are a lot about rudeness but I've never gotten that and we have been here plenty. I always get two eggs, sausage, grits and toast. Boring but they do it right. My boyfriend usually gets biscuits and gravy which he also enjoys. Great place and we will keep coming back.
My husband are in town for a short vacation, and we visited this restaurant for breakfast this morning. Our waitress was Kayla. She was friendly and personable, but also very professional and was able to answer all of our questions as we tried to decide what we wanted. Although I forgot to take a picture of it, my husband ordered the biscuits and gravy. He said it was very good. I ordered the banana walnut pancakes with a side of home fries. The portion of pancakes was huge! I definitely did not need to worry about ordering aside. However, my husband was kind enough to eat the home fries for me :-) The restaurant is very cute. It also appears to have a candy and sweet shop attached. We learned that this is very common place in this beach town. Their breakfast menu is very diverse and offers a lot of different options. So, if you're in town for a period of time, you could easily go here each morning and try something different. If you have the occasion to visit this area , make sure to check out this restaurant for a great breakfast!
Dropped in this morning ( 8 of us) because we were driving by and phones went off saying there was a tornado warning. We were greeted quickly and told the staff why we were there and they told us to make ourselves at home. Offered us coffee and one of the servers (Ashley) had her daughter there who was watching videos and offered to let our five year old twins watch with her ( which helped distract them from the tornado warning). She brought them juice and lemonade and a fruit bowl also. We talked for a while, while waiting for the storm to pass and she served 4 of us coffee. We were there long enough so lunch came around and we ended up staying to eat. The food was served hot and was plentiful and very good. We paid (not charged for the coffee, lemonade or juice or fruit bowl!) and left. Everyone was super nice and understanding and Ashley was great! Will definitely return under better circumstances!
